Sunday Practice Set at The Dirt Track at Genesee After Saturday Cancellation
BATAVIA, NY — Persistent rain showers overnight have forced officials at The Dirt Track at Genesee to cancel today's scheduled practice session. However, teams and fans won't have to wait long, as practice has been rescheduled for Sunday, with sunny skies and temperatures in the low 60s expected.
The revised practice schedule for Sunday is as follows:
Pit Gate Opens: 1:30 PM
Practice Begins: 3:30 PM
Pit Admission: $25.00 for everyone
Grandstand Admission: Free
Grandstand Gates Open: 1:30 PM
The practice running order will feature:
Sportsman
Street Stocks
Bandits
Novice Sportsman
RUSH Late Models
Mini Stocks
Note: Any and all cars are welcome to participate. If a driver's class is not listed, they are encouraged to join the class that most closely fits their car.
Drivers are reminded to complete their MyRacePass registration prior to arrival and to have their transponder numbers ready when signing in at the pit window. These steps will help speed up the check-in process and ensure a smooth start to the upcoming season.
Additional Facility Updates:
Credit cards are now accepted throughout the facility, including the pit gate. (Cash is still welcome.) A small surcharge of 0.38% will apply to all credit card purchases.
A limited food menu will be available in the grandstands.
Drivers are welcome to sell merchandise free of charge at the snack shack.
Officials are looking forward to seeing teams and fans tomorrow as they prepare for an exciting 2025 season at The Dirt Track at Genesee.
