Pangrazio Legacy Continues: Josh Pangrazio Returns to Full-Time Racing

After a year away from the track, Josh Pangrazio is ready to return to the Street Stock division full time in 2025. The Kent, NY native is looking to compete for the championship and continue the Pangrazio Racing Legacy that his Uncle LaVerne started back in 1962.

Pangrazio, who began racing at 20 years old, has had a successful career in the Street Stock division, with championships in 2014 and 2019. He attributes his success to hard work, dedication, and a desire to be the best.

Pangrazio took the 2024 season off to focus on personal projects, including building a new home and a brand-new race shop. However, with his life slowing down, he's now ready to commit to full-time racing.

Pangrazio's decision to return to full-time racing was also influenced by his sponsors, with whom he has built great relationships over the years.

"My sponsors have been instrumental in my success, and I'm grateful for their support," Pangrazio said. "Without them, I wouldn't be able to have the equipment I have."

This season, Pangrazio will be driving a 2025 CRS car, with a new engine builder and a revamped team. He's also excited to work with his pit crew, which includes BIG RED (Josh Dyrbala), Ryan Scopano, and Stubby Pfalzer.

"My pit crew is vital to my success on the track," Pangrazio said. "They know and understand my expectations and execute at a high level."

Pangrazio's goals for the 2025 season are ambitious, with a focus on competing for the championship and beating rival driver Byron DeWitt.
"In my opinion, Genesee is going to have a very competitive field; there are several guys that have very good equipment and have several years under them. Byron DeWitt, Jesse Qutermous, Damian Long, John Zimmerman, and Brandon Sherwood just to name a few. Pangrazio said."

As Pangrazio returns to full-time racing, he's aware of the challenges ahead, including a new engine builder and a brand-new car. However, he's driven by his desire to be the best and to continue the Pangrazio Racing Legacy.

"I'm proud to be a part of the Pangrazio Racing Legacy, which my Uncle LaVerne started back in 1962," Pangrazio said. "The desire to be the best. So much goes into our racing program. To continue the Pangrazio Racing Legacy I eat and breathe racing; driving is the small part of the enjoyment. What's more enjoyable is the work and dedication that goes into it. Driving it is the easiest part!"

Pangrazio kicks off his quest for a third Street Stock Championship at The Dirt Track at Genesee. The season-opening event takes place on Saturday, May 3rd, at 7:00 pm, where Pangrazio will face off against the top drivers that the track has to offer.
